MAiA always invites submissions of work that examine individual and group encounters with music and the arts in a practical social context, as well as theoretical work examining music and the arts as active components of human experience. For more details and information on submitting articles for regular issues, see Information for Authors.

MAiA is also currently inviting submissions for upcoming 'thematic issues'. Again, please see Information for Authors for more information on the submission process.

Additionally, MAiA invites occasional guest-edited 'special issues' that referee, present and discuss selected papers from conferences and symposia related to MAiA's mission.

Finally, MAiA is now publishing book reviews. Individuals interested in submitting a review of a recent publication are invited to contact the MAiA editorial team. All inquiries will be considered, and those fitting MAiA's remit may be invited for publication.

If you have suggestions with regards to topics that may be suitable for a thematic issue, special issue or book review, please contact us.
